Information We Collect

We collect and process the following in connection with PasteCraft:

• Account data: Email address, password (hashed), and when you sign in with Google, your Google profile (email, name) for account creation and sign-in.
• Clips and clipboard content: Text and metadata you copy and save as clips. Clips may be stored on our servers for sync and may be sent to AI models when you use reflection or answer features. These services are handled in their respective network contexts: the AI Lab page and the corresponding AI buttons throughout PasteCraft. AI Lab and Supabase are used together as the reflective models that power AI responses such as summaries, breakdowns, and similar outputs.
• Support messages: Subject, description, and any optional fields you submit via our in-product support forms (Team, Help, Support, Improve, Report a bug).
• Payment-related data: Subscription and billing are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details; Stripe processes payments in line with its own privacy policy.
• Local extension data: The PasteCraft extension may store clips and preferences (e.g. settings, remembered email) in your browser. When you are signed in, clips may sync to our servers.
• Analytics: We do not currently use analytics or usage tracking. If we add such features in the future, we will update this policy and provide notice where required.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, secure, and operate PasteCraft (including sign-in, sync, and AI-powered features such as summaries, and breakdowns).
• Respond to support requests and improve our services.
• Process subscriptions and comply with legal obligations.
• If we introduce analytics later, we will use them only as described in an updated policy.

Where Your Data Is Stored and Processed

Your data may be stored or processed by:

• Supabase: Account (auth) and clip storage and sync.
• OpenAI and Replicate: Clip or text content you submit for AI features (reflections, answers).
• Stripe: Payment and subscription processing; we do not store card details.
• Resend / Netlify: Delivering support ticket emails to our team (team@, help@, support@, and related addresses).
• Your device: The extension stores clips and preferences locally in browser storage; when signed in, data may sync to our servers.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and clip data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@pastecraft.com. We will process valid requests in line with applicable law. Deleting your account may involve deletion of associated clips and account data from our systems.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pastecraft.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA). You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS, secure authentication, and access controls. Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI-compliant). We do not sell your personal information.

Children's Privacy

PasteCraft is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at privacy@pastecraft.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. We may also notify you by email or through the product when changes are significant. Continued use of PasteCraft after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
